Violet Goes Victorian Style

Looking good with the hat, Violet!

Following from the 's Victorian theme, I decided to give Violet a trip through time so she proves that she has class and a nice hat to boot!

Friendly Notes - 11.02.2011 / 13.03.2012 / 04.04.2014

Originally uploaded for the Victorian theme on 11.02.2011, this started out as a line art by looking at a posing reference on the Net until the whole picture was redone on 13.03.2012. Changes were the well designed line art, the addition of colour to the picture as the Victorian outfit that she's wearing was coloured to Violet's colours along with the shading and creating comic style panels to the copyrights and the title deviation. Unfortunately, I should have kept the same head/facial expression as in the original sketch instead of the 'cut and paste job' with the head so I redrew the expression and sorted out the line art. New additions to the picture was a new hat with feathers (looking at Victorian hats) created through custom made shapes and making use of the Dodge and Burn tools on various parts! Overall, this was a vast improvement than in the previous uploads and looks more better than before
