The Cast of Project SouthBound No.9 - Xenia

I think the black version suits her....!

Coming in at No.9 of ‘The Cast of Project SouthBound’, she was once a dangerous woman but now has a new code of her morals...so she says! It’s the wonderful and unpredictable Xenia Moskvina!

Growing in the rough suburbs of St. Petersburg, Xenia wanted to be in the spotlight as she wanted to be a gymnast. Throughout the years, and getting through her education, she worked her socks off to reach her dream goals. Earning respect and accolades was the start but it takes one person to derail her career for good. While representing her country at the World Athletic Championships, Xenia was assaulted without warning as someone hit her leg with a wrench. In serious pain, Xenia feared that her career was over. Unfortunately, she had to give up the sport as doctors repaired her leg but advised not to do any activities until the leg healed. In tears and disappointed, Xenia knew that life had to go on. A year went from her career ending injury as Xenia recovered from that injury. She wished everyone the best but her mental state would be crushed. However, a source leak would make Xenia become dangerous.

Xenia was shown CCTV footage of one of her fellow gymnasts paying the assailant who attacking Xenia with the wrench! Irate and infuriated, Xenia wanted revenge immediately! In a foul mood and without a career, Xenia could not stop thinking about what she was shown. This led her going back to the gym and working out constantly. During that time, she learned martial arts and bodybuilding which lead to her body changing dramatically though she did not expect the outcome. A few days later, Xenia eventually confronted the assailant and dealt with him in ‘violent fashion’! She got the truth out of him and this led to a bloody revenge on the gymnast who organized this plan! Xenia nearly left her for dead but this gave a sadistic smile on her face.

From that point in her life, Xenia became an ‘assassin for hire’ as she travelled around the world. Eventually, Xenia settled in the town of SouthBound where she caught the eye of Doctor Krista Schwarz. She asked her to be a member of her group, Die Schwarz Reich which she accepted! Though given a task to bring Edward Onett alive, Xenia went over the bar by trying to kill him through a sniper attack! For Eddie’s benefit, Krista stopped her before she did it. However, Xenia got her chance as she confronted him for the first time and defied Krista’s orders. As the blood spilled, Xenia went to the extreme and heavily assaulting the SouthBound native but luckily, Bernice Lockhart finally confronted Xenia thus leading to a clash of martial arts and weaponry as Eddie was escorted away!

Defeated and demanding to finish her for good, Xenia was stunned in Bernice’s refusal but warned her that she is leading the wrong path in life and has the choice to make it right. Those words echoed and thought back to her past! Needing closure from that, Xenia confronted Bernice for the second time and would become victorious as they were even! Xenia earned Bernice’s respect and vice-versa with her fighting spirit!

Ironically, Xenia's fighting spirit would continue when she joined up with the Gals Fighters promotion and eventually have a part to play in the ‘Faction Wars’ on being on the sides of evil and good respectively. After 2 years from those events, Xenia would eventually join up with a ‘newly-formed’ Lady Jynnelle in cleaning up SouthBound while Eddie was ‘out of action’. Oddly enough, Xenia enjoyed the fact that she was doing something good under strange circumstances especially with Jodie, Katejina and Takumi. Also, returning back to her ‘Gals Fighters’ duties in entertaining the fans!

Storyline Fact: Xenia actually admits that has her own boutique in SouthBound! Explains that ‘Gals Fighters fact’...£500, ha!

Fun Fact: There is an alternate version in red and for some reason, she likes that one more!

Xenia’s character was actually inspired by the character, ‘Xenia Onatopp’ from Goldeneye 007 but with a few differences ‘here and there’ (You can suss it out!). The original idea came in 2008 but the actual main portrait was created in May 2012 and although, the rework was started in August 2015 as it took a rest for bit. Everything was finished in March 2017 and looks better than it did!
