The Cast of Project SouthBound No.13 - Jodie

Kinda rare having a pro-wrestler on the list, then again so is.....Lady Jynnelle! Whoops!

Next up at No.13 of ‘The Cast of Project SouthBound’, she’s ‘The One Who Makes You See the Stars’ (if you’re have the guts to take her on in the squared circle!).....it’s the lovely and wonderful Jodie Whitefoot.

Jodie was born in Manchester before her family moved to SouthBound. After her education, she was first started as a model for magazines. However, Jodie would get a ‘a wave of negativity’ to her body shape at the time which was be a problem. With that and some personal issues getting in the way, Jodie needed some ‘divine intervention’ and oddly enough, it came in a fitness magazine. From that point and reading for ‘that magazine’, Jodie started to work out in the gym and at home. Years went on, Jodie would gain a female bodybuilder’s physique. Her trust in people returned along with newfound confidence

Jodie decided to take part in ‘a local fitness competition’ and she gave it her all! Unfortunately, she came second best but never gave in! She would make new friends in Chloe LaFrancois and Bernice Lockhart but it was when encountered the eventual winner, Sheva Sutherland where it really took off!  Taking the advice of Sheva to take each day as it comes and never be taken for a fool, Jodie took those words seriously.  While the works continued to repeat, Jodie accidentally crushed huge rocks which lead her to believe that she has newfound strength! Jodie would get fame in the town. Unfortunately, the fame caught the attention of Doctor Krista Schwarz.

Though joining the Die Schwarz Reich, she would find out that Bernice and Raven was a part of the group. After she was told to capture Eddie Onett, Jodie felt uneasy to battle with the ‘Brother who saved SouthBound’. Jodie would take on Eddie after Raven was defeated!  Losing a hand to hand battle and nearly destroying his ‘Zeta Slugger’, Eddie questioned her to joining Krista on this bizarre quest! Thinking about it, Jodie really wondered why she needed her as Eddie told her to get out while she still can!

After watching Krista fall to her defeat, Jodie looked at the skies as Sheva’s words kept alarming in her head! Learning by those mistakes and returning back to the bodybuilding circuit, Jodie would win a few contests but she would find out that ‘every cloud has a silver lining’. Jodie decided up professional wrestling under the training of Daisuke Sasaki where she learned many moves and holds. Inbetween that time, Lady Jynnelle was looking for her and wanted her to join ‘Corporation Xleven’. Jodie heard about the advance and decided to take up a tryout with the Zero Fighters promotion.

Another turning point for Jodie as she did favourably well which lead to her ‘world tour’ in taking part in other promotions against each opponent! With her new ‘J-Star’ persona and winning titles, she was spotted by the Gals Fighters which lead to her return back to SouthBound! After one house show, Jodie was approached by Lady Jynnelle. Hearing about her ‘world tour’, she wanted Jodie to join the newly formed ‘Corporate Warriors’.  Having doubts about ‘that last offer’, Jodie declined until Lady Jynnelle spilled the beans about her past and present. Jodie was shocked until she took it up! Strangely enough while ‘fighting the good fight’ and showing her ‘synergised abilities’, this boosted Jodie’s popularity and made her a main figure in the town!

Storyline Fact: Jodie dyed her hair to auburn due to her past model days as a blonde! Don’t blame her, she suffered a lot back then!

Friendly Notes – 07.09.2012/22.02.2017/26.04.2017

Originally, Jodie’s character was created back in 2012 and was based of Candy Canary! Fast forward to 2017 (after the past artwork that’s debatable), Jodie has been a redesign with given a new backstory and a new appearance was based on the current UK FBB, Sarah Williams although, Jodie is a ‘redhead. Also, Jodie recently became a late addition to the Gals Fighters’ series considering she is part of the ‘Project SouthBound’ series hence the reworked backstory!  As for her concept art, the 2012 version has Jodie holding a ‘beam sword’ similar to Hayato from ‘Star Gladiator’ though this was drastically changed to somewhat reflect her pro wrestling persona!
